Asha Bhakta, M.A. is the co-founder of Creative Solutions for Autism, a California company that provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to families in Orange County. With a Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis from University of Nevada, Reno, Mrs. Bhakta has practiced the principles of Behavioral Analysis, in particular with the autism community, for 10 years. Her keen insight into the patterns of behavior commonly encountered in children on the autism spectrum allows for systematic observation and modification of behavior. Because the principles of ABA not only apply to the child, but to the family of the affected child as well, Mrs. Bhakta tailors her recommendations to suit each individual family.
Mrs. Bhakta has extensive experience in Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Verbal Behavior (VB) procedures. Additionally, she has received training in teaching Language Skills, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Play skills, Academic Skills, and Daily Living Skills to children with autism.
