JoQueta Hayes, MS CCC-SLP
Speech & Motion, Inc. was founded by JoQueta Hayes, M.S., CCC-SLP in 1999. JoQueta developed the company around her passion for helping children to be successful learners, no matter their age or severity of delay. Prior to opening Speech & Motion, Inc. JoQueta managed a private practice in New York City, working with critical care infants with feeding problems. She also managed the pediatric outpatient and acute head trauma unit at Staten Island University Hospital in New York.
She completed her clinical fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University Hospital in Voice Science. JoQueta also worked in the Boston Public Schools. She earned a Master's of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Boston University in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa in 1989, and has served on the research staff at Columbia University in New York City. Her current work involves pediatric speech therapy at CIHC. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her three children, Zoie, Zach and Zane.
